ABOUT US

TOGETHER, WE CAN BUILD AN AAPI FORCE FOR CALIFORNIA.

In 2016, AAPI FORCE-EF was founded by a group of AAPI grassroots organizations to develop a statewide infrastructure to fight for AND WIN political power for working-class communities of color in California.

Our organization is rooted in decades of grassroots organizing in AAPI communities. We believe in the power of the people to lead and transform our government into one that values communities over corporations.

DEMOCRACY SHOULD BE POWERED BY THE PEOPLE.

Right now, our democracy is not working for the people. The wealthy few have too much power to determine how our government operates.

For democracy to work for the people, the people must be involved in how our government works and hold government accountable to our communities.

It is only through community-driven power—power from the people most impacted by racial, economic, and environmental inequality—that we win the systemic changes we need to make life better for all.

OUR NETWORK

The organizations in our network organize youth, elders, and workers locally to demand justice in cities and counties across the state. AAPI FORCE-EF organizes at the state level to build collective governing power from inside and outside of our state’s political systems. We can build a political FORCE to fight for working-class communities of color and create a government that works for us.
